Varnish Trivia
In November 2010, William Scott was asked to give a lecture about the philosophical approach to varnishing at the annual Violin Society of America convention.  Unfortunately, his instrument judging duties were too time-consuming and he never gave the lecture.  However, we did create a neat test for all you violin history buffs.  Can you identify the makers given only their location and a sample of their varnish?  It's harder than you might think.

Hey-- no cheating!!
